Fron Caravan and Camping Park is situated in approximately 5.5 acres and surrounded by high hedges.

The park is spacious, the main entrance being directly from the A4080. Fron caters only for tents and touring caravans / motor caravans. There are tarmac roads throughout. The park is approximately 80 metres wide, the distance from the entrance to the bottom of the caravan park is approximately 240 metres.

The camping field is flat, closely mown grass. The caravan park is also closely mown grass, with most pitches but not all slightly sloping. There are a limited number of hard standings which are perfectly level and of concrete construction, with grass to the sides for awnings. The maximum slope of the roadway is 10% (1' in 10'). Parking is on grass and close to your tent or caravan.

Assistance in pitching and de-camping is always available. Guests are always sited on arrival by the staff.

The reception, shop and all other facilities are centrally located between the camping and caravan fields with the exception of the camping field toilet block all can be accessed directly from tarmac roads.

The reception, shop, public payphone and tourist information are located together, the doors are 810mm wide. There is ample room to manoeuvring a wheelchair in these facilities. Assistance is always available in the shop.

There is a wheelchair accessible disabled toilet facility with seated shower, toilet and washbasin with grab rails throughout. The door width is 810mm.

Both other toilet blocks are not suitable for wheelchair access but are accessible to ambulatory persons. Door widths are all 740mm.

All water, chemical disposal, waste bin and fire points are accessible to wheelchairs and would be no more than 40 metres from any pitch.

The utilities room is not wheelchair accessible.

Access to the swimming pool patio is wheelchair accessible but we have no means of lowering disable persons into the pool.

There is a local bus service which will stop at the entrance to the park and local taxis can be called by telephone.

Emergency telephone numbers are displayed in the telephone box and mobile telephone reception is good for most networks.
