In the village of Brynsiencyn there is a small shop, post office, farm shop, two cafes, take away and local pub. A short distance away in Llanfairpwll and Menai Bridge there are also major supermarkets.
Fron is an ideal base for exploring much of interest in North Wales and Anglesey. Many of the top attractions in this area are close to hand including Anglesey Sea Zoo, the Butterfly Palace, Open Farms and National Trust Plas Newydd the ancestral home of the Marquis of Anglesey.
If you like the great outdoors the area has much to offer from many outstanding beaches, neolithic monuments, castles such as Beaumaris & Caernarfon to designated areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Slightly further afield is Snowdonia and all that has to offer including stunning scenery, mountain railways, the Welsh Slate Museum, Electric Mountain and so much more.
